Eyebrow Aftercare:
To ensure optimal healing and results, adhere to the following aftercare instructions:
- Avoid Moisture and Products: Keep water, lotion, soap, and makeup away from your eyebrow area for the initial 7 days post-procedure. When washing your face, be cautious around the eyebrows and shield the treated area during showers or baths.
- Itching and Flaking: It is normal to experience itching and flaking in the first week. Refrain from scratching or picking to prevent scabs from premature removal, which can lead to uneven results or scarring. Following the aftercare guidelines can alleviate these symptoms.
- Ointment Application: After 4 days, apply the post-care ointment gently with clean hands or a cotton swab twice daily. Use the ointment sparingly to facilitate natural healing. Continue this routine for 7 days.
- Restrictions for 14 Days: Avoid activities that can impact the healing process and pigment retention, such as:
- Increased sweating
- Sports
- Swimming
- Hot environments (sauna, hot baths)
- Sun exposure or tanning
- UV/UVA rays or chemicals
- Laser treatments, chemical peels, or products with Retin-A or Glycolic acid
- Picking or scratching the treated area
- Heavy cleaning tasks
- Excessive alcohol consumption
- Exposing eyebrows to open air in vehicles
- Touching the eyebrow area unless necessary for rinsing or applying post-care cream
- Monitoring Healing: Contact Blink Lab promptly if any unexpected issues arise during the healing process. Seek medical assistance if you observe symptoms like fever, redness, swelling, tenderness, elevated body temperature, red streaks, or unusual discharge from the treated site.
By diligently following these aftercare guidelines, you can support the healing of your eyebrows and achieve the desired outcome.
